It just seems to me that the media only plays the tapes showing lunatic gun violence just when the gun debate picks up in the hallowed halls of Congress. Just look back over the past several years and reconstruct the energy shown in Congress following the violent acts with guns carried out by lunatics with an agenda.  There are millions of law abiding american citizens that own guns that have never been, are never and will never be a part of such violent acts. Yet, the gun grabbers at every level of government are jumping on the band wagon(s) to ban gun in his country.  Why I wonder?  The Mexican Drug Cartel has not jumped their murder and mayhem across the American (United States for the purists) border for a reason.  Our Police are mostly honorable (I Think) and the U.S Military is always a threat with its greatly sophisticated weapons, but unklike the Mexican citizens who are unarmed and defenseless against the thugs, we in Texas have a right to bear arms.  In fact we the people of the United States have the right to bear arms, and a good number of Americans do bear arms thanks to our Constitutionm. 

The Media and the bleeding heart liberals never acknowledge that simple fact of American Life.

We will have a gun debate, like it or not.  Those of us who know that we have a unique right (God Given) to protect ourselves against all harm and danger,shall not give in to those who have a private agenda to disarm us and garner the power for political and economic reasons that destroy those rights. Until such day that We the People are unable to voice our opinions to influence this very dangerous debate, by virtue of our Constitutional rights, we must always and forever stand firm and strong against all forces that are self ordained to take those rights away from us. The Second Ammendment is only the first--after that all else crumbles as we the people have become defenseless against all forces that are against us.  They are many so never underestimate their power and strength.
